Our mission is to bring together bourbon enthusiasts and newcomers alike to explore the fascinating history of bourbon, learn about its intricate production process, and enjoy everything bourbon has to offer.

As you savor the finest bourbons, indulge in mouthwatering barbecue, and enjoy live music, know that your participation directly supports a noble cause.

Every dollar raised goes to the Special Operations Care Fund, dedicated to supporting our currently enlisted special operatives, veterans, and their families. Come for the bourbon, stay for the cause.

WHO WE ARE DOING IT FOR

The Special Operations Care Fund (SOC-F) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing critical support to the families of Special Operations Forces (SOF). 

SOC-F is committed to filling the gaps left by traditional support systems, ensuring that those who have sacrificed so much for their country receive the care and assistance they need. SOC-F focuses on several key areas:

Medical and Psychological Care

SOC-F provides funding for life-saving and life-changing medical and psychological treatments not covered by the military or insurance. This includes care for traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic stress, and other combat-related injuries.

Family Support

The organization offers support to the families of fallen or severely injured SOF members. This includes financial assistance, counseling, and resources to help families navigate the challenges of losing or caring for a loved one.

Scholarships and Education

SOC-F funds scholarships for the children of fallen or wounded SOF members, ensuring that they have access to quality education.

Specialized Programs

The organization runs various programs tailored to the unique needs of SOF families, such as retreats for healing and bonding, and financial assistance for adaptive housing and vehicles.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At the Barrington Bourbon Fest, prepare for a day filled with exceptional experiences. You'll have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of bourbons,

including expertly crafted bourbon cocktails that highlight the unique flavors of this beloved spirit. Enjoy mouthwatering barbecue, fresh off the smoker, that pairs perfectly with your bourbon selections.

All day long, live music will set the tone, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere & to close the evening Mike & Joe will take the stage at 7PM. Most importantly, every sip, bite, and note of music will contribute to raising funds for our troops, supporting the brave men and women of our Special Operations Forces.

WHAT TO BRING

To make the most of your experience at the Barrington Bourbon Fest, don’t forget to bring a few essentials. Each person or couple MUST bring one bottle of bourbon to share, adding to the diverse selection available for tasting. A warm jacket is recommended, as the event takes place outdoors and the weather can be unpredictable. Come with an enthusiastic spirit, ready to explore and enjoy the wide variety of bourbons on offer. And if you’re a cigar aficionado, feel free to bring your favorite cigars to pair with the bourbon for an even richer experience.

WHAT TO WEAR

This is NOT a formal event. Dress comfortably and embrace the fall vibes. Think jeans, boots, and jackets to keep warm if the weather gets chilly. This is all about enjoying the bourbon, BBQ, and music, so wear something that you’ll feel great in while sipping on your favorite drink, listening to live tunes, and indulging in some mouthwatering BBQ.
